THE FORMULA IN THE VIDEO

Heated water phase
73g | 2.5oz water (at one point I say both 73g and 75g—it’s 73g!)
2g | 0.07oz honey or vegetable glycerin

Heated oil phase
5g | 0.17oz shea butter
14g | 0.49oz sunflower oil
6g | 0.21oz complete emulsifying wax (Ritamulse SCG, Polawax, BTMS-50, BTMS-25, or Emulsifying Wax NF)

Cool down phase
Broad-spectrum preservative, as required (learn more at http://www.humblebeeandme.com/faqs/what-preservative-should-i-use-how-much-of-it-should-i-add/). I used 0.5g (0.5%) Liquid Germall Plus (INCI: Propylene Glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate).

8 drops lavender essential oil
5 drops peru balsam essential oil
(You can use different essential oils if you want, have fun with it!)

EMULSIFYING WAXES YOU CAN USE

Emulsimulse INCI: Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, and Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate
Polawax INCI: Cetearyl Alcohol, PEG-150 Stearate, Polysorbate 60, and Steareth-20
BTMS-50 INCI: Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetyl Alcohol, Butylene Glycol
E-Wax NF INCI: Cetostearyl Alcohol and Polysorbate 60

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU USE BEESWAX/SOY WAX/CANDELILLA WAX/CARNAUBA WAX INSTEAD OF EMULSIFYING WAX IN THIS RECIPE
